When I look at his fridge I'm reminded just how far along the Autistic Spectrum I spend my time.

Yummy, yes, but real English cooking surely should be just on the edge of inedible!
Although, I always say that because of childhood memories, and then have to remind myself of the ACTUAL cooking of everyone I visit when I'm back in the UK, and then dear old Waitrose and M&S and Sains, and I have to admit, times have changed, oh yes, they have changed my friend.
sheesh.... I really need to pimp my crib....
